Chiropractic adjustments are the gentle safe manipulation of the spine and joints in areas where abnormal function is found. The Chiropractor will perform a treatment focused on reducing pain, restoring mobility and returning the patient to normal function as quickly as possible. Our clinic uses several forms of Chiropractic Manipulation, depending on what suits you best and your preferences.

If you have not been into the clinic within 12 months of your last appointment, we require more time than a standard session and you will undergo a re-exam.

The therapist works hard to improve your body and health by improving the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Allowing your physical function to be improved or maintained, whilst helping with pain and stress.

Treatments can be undertaken for people with acute or chronic conditions, helping people of all ages, abilities, illnesses, injuries and disabilities.


Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is a primary health care system which combines age old principles of natural healing with the rigors of modern science. Naturopathic medicine recognizes the wisdom of nature and the body’s innate ability to restore and maintain optimal health.

Dr. Nicole Fournier received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, prior to which she received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biomedical Sciences from Laurentian University. She is a Certified Clinical Acupuncture Provider and is certified in Level 1 Grastonョ Technique. Dr. Nicole believes in utilizing techniques such as Chiropractic adjustments using both diversified and Activator techniques, a variety of different muscle release and instrument assisted soft-tissue techniques, functional screening tools, and acupuncture with the aim of improving function, decreasing pain and helping you live a better life.

Dr. Nicole incorporates the above techniques and rehabilitative exercise with her patients, using an integrated and functional approach in her treatments. She enjoys helping people of all ages achieve their personal health and performance goals, and has a special interest in pregnancy and infant care.

Erin received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002, following her Bachelor of Science from Queens University in Kingston. Continuing education has included homeopathic studies with Lou Klein and Rajan Sankaran, Pregnancy and Acupuncture and Bowen Therapy.

Her general family practice encourages wellness for the entire family using a combination of Nutrition and Lifestyle counseling, Constitutional Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbal Medicine and Bowen Therapy.

Dr. O’Farrell has a special interest in all areas of Women’s Health. She has worked extensively with a variety of concerns, including gastrointestinal complaints (IBS, chronic constipation, diarrhea, IBD), women’s health (menstruation, menopause, fertility, pregnancy), skin conditions, learning difficulties, coughs and colds, asthma, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety and chronic pain.

Emmanuelle is excited to join Wellness House after working for over 10 years in Toronto as Massage Therapist and spending the last few years back in her home country of France.

Emmanuelle graduated from Kikkawa College in Toronto, after leaving behind a corporate career in Marketing and Communications in Paris, France, and Toronto, to pursue her passion in Massage Therapy and find fulfillment in helping others.

Emmanuelle is fluent in both English and French.

She also holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Winnipeg (MB) and Université de Cergy Pontoise in France.

She has extensive experience using: Dr Vodder’s Manual Lymph Drainage techniques, working with cancer patients, primary and secondary lymphedema patients, cosmetic, reconstructive and gender affirming surgery patients.

Dr Peter Wise has always had a passion for sports, fitness and Chiropractic. He was born in Adelaide, Australia, where he grew up and undertook his Bachelor of Health Science. Upon completion of his Bachelors he moved to Sydney, Australia to undertake Chiropractic at Macquarie University. During his time as a student at Macquarie, Dr Wise excelled academically, earning the honour of Dux (Student of the Year for academic excellence across all fields), he was also given the prestigious role as Valedictorian during his graduating ceremony.

Dr Wise has been established in introducing Chiropractic to gym and fitness centres in Australia, encouraging a well rounded lifestyle to the members. While living in Australia Dr Wise met his long term partner Kelly, a local Canadian girl from Ottawa.

He loves to help all members of the family from grandchildren to grandparents. Dr Wise has a special interest in sports performance and optimization, helping all people excel in their sports, hobbies and careers.
